Transitions, transcendents, explorers on the boundaries of day and night, known and unknown. Moments of random intimacy and togetherness are captured in this series. The weak sun of Iceland, dreamily illuminates friends in the sparse nature of ancient landscapes. These images are suggestions or revelations of an elusive virtuality I shared with my friends, only realised for brief moments.
In recording these tableaux I aim to expose the sensual, fleeting melancholy of youth, partially abstracted by ethereal environments, and seemingly detached from time.
