Like Many Malians living in France, Modibo’s life is suspended between two lands. In Bamako, Mali, are his roots, his wife and children, unemployment and poverty. In Epinay-sous-Senard, France, as an illegal migrant worker, he lives with anonymity, solitude and the constant threat of deportation and exploitation.
