Details

This series aim to expose a breathing space in the heart of a megalopolis saturated with crowds and signs. Here, in the public spaces of Tokyo are captured quiet moments where time seems to be fixed. The human presence is perceptible through remnants; abandoned objects are clues to a life in abeyance. These images are about the fragility
of living beings and things, which are refugees, interacting with and idealized and man-made version of nature. These ‘still lifes’ can be seen as temporary coincidental installations or as indicators evoking apparitions of aspects of the Japanese society.

Selected for the ‘Bourse du Talent #27: Space, Landscape and Architecture” in 2005 and exhibited at Galerie le Lieu (Lorient, France) in 2007.
